The 'cannibal' Who Cared

Life is a precious commodity. Survival is as vital to man as it is to the rest of the animal kingdom. Beneath the veneer of civilised society there lurks in all of us a savage instinct to preserve our life regardless of the cost. Tragic events in the North Atlantic conspire with the forces of nature to snuff out the lives of a small group of travellers. Subsequent choices ensure that differing conclusions will be reached in this epic struggle for life. Social condemnation for one vital act results in a false assumption of guilt for another. A hasty flight from authority seems to offer the only solution.
