'Have you read Nadine Aisha? If not, you're seriously missing out. She kicks serious arse.' - Kirsty Logan, author of The Gracekeepers
Still is the debut poetry pamphlet from Nadine Aisha, exploring women's stories and women's survival. Still tackles subjects such as racism and gender-based violence, and takes readers on a journey through women's worlds: at times sharing the strength of women's voices and women's spaces, at times the injustices committed against them, and the silences which need to be broken. Nadine Aisha is a poet, writer and creative practitioner who works in the movement to end gender-based violence. She was the first ever Writer in Residence for YWCA Scotland's FeministFest 2016, and has performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Audacious Women Festival, and Edinburgh's socially conscious Just Festival.
You can find out more about Nadine via her website, or read her latest essay in 404 ink's Nasty Women (2017).
