Every cover from 1967 to 2006, ending with the 1000th cover (appearing on newstands in May 2006) will be added to the smaller chunky format of this new edition. A new introduction by Jann Wenner, new quotes from photographers and musicians, as well as relevant excerpts from the magazine will also be featured. As with the first edition, the covers will be presented chronologically.
