Published in association with the European Commission, this looseleaf volume presents the English text of all proposals for Directives, the Directives themselves, the Regulations, the Decisions, and the Recommendations which comprise the legislative programme for the creation of the Internal Market in 1992. The scope of the legislative presented conformss to that established in the European Commission's White Paper to the European Council entitled "Completing the Internal Market", in which some 300 pieces of legislation were proposed which are considered necessary to complete the Internal Market. Coverage includes: the removal of physical barriers - control of goods, control of individuals; the removal of technical barriers - free movement of goods, public procurement, free movement of labour, common market for services, capital movements, industrial co-operation, application of Community law; and the removal of fiscal barriers - approximation of VAT and excises, and the Commission's proposals. The seven-volume Basic Work is updated by a quarterly Supplement Service.
