This book includes at least three spreads from each issue Kalman created, along with the complete 13th issue - which was entirely visual - in facsimile, as well as sketches and layout drawings, Kalman's original notes, photos of Kalman and the staff at work, and commentaries and occasional sketches by Maira Kalman, his wife and business partner.
