When his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, Sokol found himself not knowing where to turn. Part of his solution has been to write about what he and his wife have gone through and bring hope, reassurance, practical advice, and enlightenment not only to the men who love women with breast cancer, but to anyone who has ever cared for someone stricken by a life-threatening illness.
