It's Science! is a young science series which introduces the reader to the major aspects of science covered in the first years of school. It also encourages awareness of scientific processes at work in the world around us. The series is characterised by a simple text and fresh, open designs and encourages an interactive approach, with things to notice, work out or play on the page. Both these titles focus on the science involved in popular classroom projects and topics. Plants & Flowers considers the elements that plants need to grow, the structure of flowering plants and the way they make new plants. Air & Flight looks at what makes up air, how we use it from breathing to floating, and explore the science behind how objects fly through the air, from aeroplanes to birds.
