The "Advances in Tissue Banking" series presents up-to-date developments in particular specialized fields which all interact in the practice of tissue banking. This work covers such areas as ethics, regulation, screening methodology, organization/management, and surgical methods.

Tissue banking is a rapidly developing interdisciplinary subject. The "Advances in Tissue Banking" series presents up-to-date developments in particular specialized fields which all interact in the practice of tissue banking. Users of tissues need to know about methods of production and their safety and availability, while producers need to understand how tissues behave when transplanted into the body, and how they are surgically used. Ethical, regulatory, screening methodology, organization/management, surgical methods and bacterial and viral inactivation are within the scope of this series.
