Accomplishments of the Environmental Management Science Program

This work contains the first scientific results for the co-ordinated environmental science program sponsored by the US Department of Energy. The papers presented in this volume cover actinide, inorganic, analytical, physical, biogeochemistry, and separative chemistry areas of this programme.

This is a record of the first scientific results for the coordinated environmental science program currently sponsored by the US Department of Energy. The purpose of the program is to lay the foundation for remediating the nuclear weapons production legacy in the Unived States, the most expensive environmental program ever attempted. The papers presented in this volume cover actinide, inorganic, analytical, physical, biogeochemistry, and seperative chemistry areas of this program.
