This illustrated catalogue of the National Film and Television Archive collection has been compiled to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the British Film Institute. The 10,000 entries in the catalogue reflect the range of broadcasting: major drama series (such as "Play for Today" and "The Wednesday Play"); influential current affairs series (such as "This Week" and "World in Action"); arts programmes (such as "Tempo, Aquarius") and a wide array of children's programmes, sport, politics, sitcoms and soaps.
