These images deliberately reflect newer and more critical understandings of geography and culture, but at the same time recognize the charter of the Commonwealth Games - to foster humanity and equality between people. The artists replay and remix the past, remodelling history and membership of an Empire which itself has been radically reimagined and revised. The result is a provocative and quirky portfolio of images that are bound to stimulate.
