2009 is a crucial year in the international effort to address climate change, culminating in the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, 7-18 December. In 2007, Parties agreed to shape an ambitious and effective international response to climate change, to be agreed at Copenhagen. Following-up on HOME, this book takes the opportunity of the Copenhagen Summit to address the issues of global warming with Yann Arthus-Bertrand's usual approach, aimed at the widest audience, both in breathtaking photos and deep-searching texts. The aim of the book is to sum up what we know about global warming, its causes, its often dramatic consequences and the solutions to consider. This regards every one of us, in our daily life and its consequences on the environment, and how we can change the course of things, both individually and globally on the international level.
